WV Voter RegistrationThere is a HUGE push in Roanoke for voter registration. If you can remember back in Feb., VA went big for Obama. His fight was close in rural areas, but places like Roanoke ran up the numbers big. They have a ground operation in place and if you are interested, please call (773) 386-5900.Voter Registration drives are picking up their pace as we prepare for the general election here in West Virginia. This is a critical part of our effort to transform the political landscape of our state. Voters who will be 18 by November 4th can register to vote. The WV Secretary of State Office is the official resource for all election info. Voter Registration forms can be printed from this Adobe Acrobat File, they can be obtained from the County Clerk's Offices or call the Secretary of State's Office at (304) 558-8386 to have them mail up to 200 forms to you.
The rules and instructions for registering voters are on the forms and at the WV Secretary of State Office website. it's a good idea to have our own list of names/phones of people we've registered so we can follow up to make sure everything went OK and to get out the vote. Anyone who has additions and/or corrections to this information, please email phil@wv4obama.com. So Let's Get Out The Vote !
